Rotor brake

  • Locate the Rotor brake handle at the top of the inside cabin

  • If the rotor brake is applied, as shown by the extended silver chain, gently pull the handle down and laterally towards the front of the cabin until it releases from the bracket; allow it to retract

  • Pull the rotor brake until you feel resistance and allow the handle to retract

  • Locate the rotor brake arm assembly behind the MR gearbox

  • Ensure the hardware it tight

  • Ensure the rotor brake cable is not frayed or damaged

  • Raise the rotor brake arm assembly with your hand and listen for the audible click of the rotor brake sensor

  • Ensure the wiring to the rotor brake sensor is secure and not damaged
