Blades

  • Using the designated step support inside the front upper cowling on the right hand side, take a step up and push one of the main rotor blades up, which will lower the opposing blade

  • Climb down and walk to the end of the lowered blade

  • Inspect the blade and ensure it is clean

  • Ensure there are no chips, cracks, or other damage

  • Ensure the bond line between the skin and the spar is not visible

  • Repeat the process for the other blade, by climbing back up onto the step and pushing the lowered blade up, which will lower the blade that needs inspected

  • After both blades have been checked, be sure the rotor blades are approximately level to avoid possible tailcone strike
